Something to Do ?
And this is what one has in the pipeline ...
The Human Zoo : Desmond Morris
The Fabric of the Cosmos : Brian Greene
The Brothers Karamazov : Fyodor Dostoevsky
The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass : Lewis Carroll
The Bhagavad Gita : Eknath Easwaran
The Selfish Gene : Richard Dawkins
The Origin of Species : Charles Darwin
Yes, No or Maybe : Ya I Khurgin
... and not necessarily in the same order.
I am supposed to get down to doing something at least, this next one month; not for anyone else, nor for myself either - for the sake of doing something, I suppose. One avenue is to pick up pencil and paper; as I used to, some time ago. The other is to hit the keys and drum up something that makes (con)textual sense. I could play at being a mechanic again; it's just that that would be rather telling on the wallet and I have had my fill till I feel sated and more. The past five days have been spent sleeping, making up for the exhaustion and seemingly unending ennui of the past six months.
For the moment, however, I find myself reading again. This book is eminently readable and makes one wish that he had paid more attention to and attempted further retention of what one studied during history classes at school.
